Technicians who are involved in capturing images of the human body using the latest imaging technologies are called radiology technicians. A radiology technician works according to the orders of the radiologist and other senior physicians. Every hospital has a separate radiology department which contains the basic equipments like the x-ray, scan and other imaging equipments. The technicians play an important role in the medical team. In order to join the course in a college one must have academic records with minimum criteria of C grade. Based on the performance the director of the college decides if the candidate is eligible to be admitted in the college. The minimum criteria for any candidate to join the course are as follows. One must have scored atleast 15 credits in mathematical or logical reasoning, arts and humanities, information system, natural science and behavioral science. If the candidate meets the above academic records he can proceed with any college to join the radiology technician course and certify himself as a radiology technician.
